Foot Locker and Champs Sports, in collaboration with ASICS and BLEACH, are proud to present a limited edition sneaker collection to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Shinigami anime. The special collection, which will debut at New York Comic-Con, features two elaborate shoe designs: the ASICS GT-2160 and the GEL-NYC, each inspired by the iconic characters of Shinigami, Ichigo Kurosaki and Lianji Asai.
ASICS GT-2160
The ASICS GT-2160 is designed for Ichigo Kurosaki and is inspired by his Shinigami costume. The design features black, white, orange and red hues, with the name “Ichigo” in Japanese and a skull and crossbones motif on the shoe’s virtual mask. These unique details add a vivid personal touch to the shoe, emphasizing Ichigo’s dominant style in the anime.
ASICS GEL-NYC
On the other hand, the ASICS GEL-NYC is designed as a tribute to Renji Asai. The colors of the shoe are bright red and black, perfectly representing Renji’s flowing red hair and Shinigami uniform. The shoe also features the logo of his team, the Sixth Squad, which is a fitting tribute to Renji.
BLEACH x ASICS Release Information
This special BLEACH x ASICS collection is slated for the Holiday Season 2024 and fans will be able to get these shoes exclusively at Foot Locker and Champs Sports. Each shoe in the collection is available for men at $145 and $165 respectively. This limited release commemorates 20 years of Die Hard glory and is not to be missed!
