The shoes feature delicate laser-engraved detailing with the initials of the 122 patients who participated in the design, embodying this touching project. To celebrate the creativity of these young patient designers, Nike designers also conceived a new mosaic design. Auction Information
These special sneakers will be auctioned through Sotheby’s starting at just $1.00, starting on October 21, 2024 and ending on October 30, 2024 at 12:00pm (EST). Due to the scarcity of these shoes and their deep emotional connection to the Doernbecher Freestyle program, it is expected that the auction price will exceed $2,000 per pair. All proceeds from the auction will go directly to the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital to continue to support this great cause through sneakers.
